Image Rotator
Rotate images by 90°, 180° or 270° in one click.
About Image Rotator
Image Rotator is a free online tool. Fix photos that were taken sideways or upside down by rotating them 90, 180 or 270 degrees. It runs entirely in your browser, so there is nothing to install, no account to create and no watermark added to your result.
How to use Image Rotator
- Upload your image by clicking the box or dragging a file onto it.
- Choose the settings you need, then press the action button.
- Check the preview and download the new image.
Worked example
A photo that appears sideways is fixed by rotating it 90 degrees in the right direction.
Tips for best results
- Rotate before compressing; re-saving a JPG several times slowly reduces quality.
- Everything runs in your browser, so you can use Image Rotator even on a slow connection once the page has loaded.
Limits to keep in mind
- Files are processed in your browser, so very large files depend on your device memory and may be slow. The limit is 50 MB per file.
- Animated images keep only their first frame. JPG output cannot keep transparency, and lossy formats discard a small amount of detail.
